V Trex builds a preliminary Dictionary of these raw Database Fields.

Dictionary Manager

The built-in Dictionary Manager, allows you to build a complex vocabulary of terms and phrases based on these raw fields (eg. "Department" = "WORKDEPT", "hired" = "HIREDATE").

You can have a single term refer to several Database fields (eg. "who" = "FIRSTNME,MIDINIT,LASTNAME")

You can build complex expressions, such as "gross pay" = [SALARY+BONUS+COMM]

You can define new terms using terms you have already built (eg. "makes" = "gross pay").

You can attach Conditions to terms (eg. "V belts" = "PARTDESC LIKE '%V Belt%' " or "in stock" = "ONHAND > 0").

V Trex has a built-in Condition Builder and a built-in Expression Builder to make things very easy for you.

V Trex has a series of built-in numeric operators: V Trex also has a series of built-in operators for date comparisons: You can add your own numeric and date operators to the V Trex GLOBAL Dictionary.

Internationalization

V Trex is fully internationalizable!

You can translate all V Trex terms and phrases into languages other than English.
