In creating supplement sheets or reference file names, you have to observe standard DOS conventions. Supplement sheets can be up to 8 characters long and CANNOT have a period in the file name. They cannot have spaces in the file name either!!!
References follow the same rule. If OOPS! says "cannot open file" when you try to save a supplement sheet or REF file, check the file name spelling and see if it violates the rules. You might want to use a letter for the first character just to be safe. If it does violate the rule, use the WRITE command and a valid file name to save the work.
