OOPS!® Technical Support - PARTS

PARTS

Problem:
Physical inventory worksheets are out of order at the end.

Solution:
Having the secondary locations filled in on some parts and not on others will make them look out of order. Do a change statement to blank out all.

Problem:
Parts ordering is not working correctly.

Solution:
You may be mixing up order and use unit.

    UNIT is unit of use.
ORDER UNIT of MEASURE is how you order it.
FACTOR is the number of "use units" per order.
    Example:

      Unit would be "each"
      Order would be "case" and
      Factor would be "12"

Problem:
Entering physical counts and the on-hand values were showing up as 3 times the value entered.

Solution:
The FACTOR is set to 3. Do a change statement to make FACTOR 1.

Problem:
Some inventory labels were queued by mistake. How do you clear them from the file?

Solution:
You have two choices.

    1. Use LOCAL RECLABS.MST, mark with TRUE, COMPRESS RECLABS, ATTACH 1 TO RECLABS
    2. Load RECLABS.MST as an individual file from the installation disks.

Problem:
OOPS! is not ordering when you hit the reorder point.

Solution:
OOPS! orders when onhand+onorder is LESS THAN reorder.

Problem:
Do you run two different type of labels with different information? You may need a batch program for inventory labels?

Solution:
We can help you with this. Call Technical Support.
